I did it!!!!

Wow, I actually did it. After having a blog account for two years I am finally making my first post. I set up this blog before Keaton was born so that I could document the lives of my two boys, but I never got back to it. I guess better late than never.

Lets see, where do I even begin. I guess I will summarize the past four years quickly. On December 19, 2006 William came into this world. We were so excited to be parents and to raise our children in a Christian home. William has been such a blessing to us. He is a smart, funny, spirited child who wears his heart on his sleeve. He is a bit of a Mamma's boy, but Mommy sure doesn't mind. He played in his first t-ball season last spring and is gearing up for soccer.  I can already tell he is going to be a little better on the soccer field becuase all he wanted to do was scoop up dirt on the baseball field.  He is currently in a mother's day out program that he attends twice a week. He loves going to "school" and is so excited to tell me how his day went when I pick him up. He will be going into Kinder next school year. I don't know that I am quite ready for that, but I better get that way!

Keaton was born on August 18, 2009. His first 9 days were spent in the NICU for underdeveloped lungs. The nurses called him their 8lb full term preemie. HaHa, he was the chubbiest baby in the NICU.  He had his own little private room in the NICU and the nurses loved on him every chance they got. These nine days were probably some of the hardest days in Wilson and I's lives. So many ups and downs, but finally we were able to bring him home and introduce him to his big brother for the first time. Keaton is thriving! He is a big boy and people always think he is older than he is. We laugh and say he is going to be our retirement (hopefully he will be some kind of sports star)! Keaton keeps us laughing all the time and he adores his big brother. Currently he is potty training and doing a fantastic job!

We are so blessed with our boys and have enjoyed every second of watching them grow. We can't wait to see what their futures hold. We pray that they will come to accept Christ and live a God centered life.

Wilson and I just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary! I have no idea where the time has gone. Seems like we just met. After teaching for 5 years I decided to become a stay at home mom. I am so grateful to God and Wilson for making this opportunity possible for me. After about 7 years Wilson left his previous company and accepted a new position with Shield Healthcare. With his old company he traveled nine nights out of a the month. Doesn't sound like too much until you consider that is nearly half of the workdays in a month. With his new company he will have no travel. I can't begin to tell you what an answered prayer this is. The boys and I are not going to know what to do having Daddy home all the time.

We took our fist big family vacation this summer to Disneyland.  We all had so much fun (even though Daddy will tell people he didn't he really had a blast)!!!  Our next big trip (just Wilson and I) will be to Kenya Africa next July.  We will be heading there with a team from our church on a mission trip.  We are so excited for this opportunity and can't wait to see what God has in store for us there.

Well that is pretty much it, enjoy some pictures from the past four years and come back for updated posts.
